As a GCBX board member, our CEO David Karins was part of a discussion on The Avenue Podcast about the tragedy in Surfside and revisiting when the Dolphin Towers in downtown Sarasota went through a similar went through similar structural damage. Karins was called to check the structure when problems started to appear and a temporary support was set up immediately that helped avoid tragedy like what happened at Surfside. David shared his thoughts about the challenges both structures faced and how important the maintenance of building is post-construction.
